Thread: Gerell Robinson

I feel G-Rob would be a very nice pick up for the rams. A big target at 6'4" and weighs a solid 230 lbs. His first two years at ASU were a disappointment but the last two made up for it. This past season he had 77 receptions for 1397 yards and 7 TD's.
He is a very hard worker. There is no such thing as the off season to Gerell. strong and very physical. Not afraid to run across the middle and take a hit. Brock looked for him whenever the pocket broke down or when the team needed a big play. 3rd down was a lot more enjoyable with this guy on the field too. Like all ASU receivers, G is a very good blocker in the pass and run due to the offense we ran under coach Mazzone. He does run with the ball unprotected but I suspect that will be fixed.
Here are a couple videos of G-Rob. The first one is from the UofA game and the second is our bowl game vs Boise.

Re: Gerell Robinson
Dunno 'bout this one. For a guy that big you'd think he'd be a little harder to bring down. Also seemed to telegraph his routes. On one play he starts arcing into the middle allowing the DB over top of him to read his route and drive on him. Looked to get out muscled in the end zone as well. I will say he made some nice grabs when the ball was put in the right spot. (All references to the Boise State game)

Re: Gerell Robinson
Agree about his route running but he is pretty hard to get down to the ground. I may have a biased opinion cause he is my former teammate but I just feel whoever gets G-Rob is getting a nice little gem with the proper coaching.
