Ginn the choice of the Madden/Fantasy Crowd?
I just don't get it.
The Rams have a receiving corps that includes Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, Drew Bennett, Randy McMichael and Joe Klopfenstein (not to mention a RB who had 90 receptions last year).
The Rams have a defense that allowed nearly 150 yards and a per carry avg. of nearly 5 yards last year.
How can ANYONE suggest that a WR should be the first pick?
All I can figure is that there are fans who are into fantasy football or Madden who only see the value of fast, flashy, skill position players.
Watch an actual game. You could have Barry Allen and Wally West at WR and it wouldn't make a lick of difference if you don't have guys who can keep the other team from marching down the field and scoring.
JUST SAY NO TO GINN!!!!!
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Ok, first, who found that picture of me! Second, all of this Ginn talk and Revis or Hall talk is to in my opinion give us a way to trade down for later picks, or a player to take who we really want given that Okoye, Adams, the top defensive prospects wont be there; I think its Justin Harrell.

Re: Ginn the choice of the Madden/Fantasy Crowd?
Exactly, Ginn would provide us potentially great kick and punt returning but does he stop the opposing running back? No!
I'm against Ginn in the First Round, by some ungodly spoken way he fell to us in R2 then yes but its not going to happen.
The Ginn to St. Louis from the media and Linehan is a smoke screen I think.RamsFan16

There is only one offensive player I would take with the 13th pick, and he won't last past Tampa Bay at 4.

Re: Ginn the choice of the Madden/Fantasy Crowd?
I'd probably take Joe Thomas too, if he fell to #13. Anyways.. I completely agree with you Av, I do NOT want Ginn in horns next year. We obviously need help on the defensive side of the ball, its not like Bulger has a lack of targets to throw to and why would we spend 1st rounder money on a guy whos just going to come in and return kicks!
