Re: Great Blue North's 2005 2-Round Mock Draft (1/20/05)
Why are the Rams #19 in Round 1 and #18 in Round 2?
I am somewhat surprised Alex Smith is rated so high as he as been lately. I would have thought Aaron Rodgers would have been rated higher.DJRamFan

Re: Great Blue North's 2005 2-Round Mock Draft (1/20/05)
[QUOTE=DJRamFan]Why are the Rams #19 in Round 1 and #18 in Round 2?
Teams will flip back and forth from round to round with the team just ahead of them. More of the parity policies in action. Notice Miami has second pick in first round and the third pick in the 3rd round-same scenario.
I am most pleased that this board has the Rams selecting Marlin Jackson instead of Jammal Brown, this team needs playmakers on defense as it's first priority.
WHAT SAY YE?

[QUOTE=RAMarkable]
We do need playmakers, but if Bulger gets knocked out again, all the defensive playmakers in the world won't matter.

Re: Great Blue North's 2005 2-Round Mock Draft (1/20/05)
As a Michigan fan, I would LOVE to have Marlin Jackson in a Rams uni, he's a solid DB and I already have his autograph.
I want to see Smoker at Rams Park every day from now until September, he deserves at least a shot at being a backup. I would also see the Rams picking up 2 free agent jounreymen to compete with Smoker on the depth chart with one of them getting cut.DJRamFan
