Re: Great Blue North's Dec. 2nd Mock Draft
Why a TE. We can find a TE in F/A but we can't find a Jimmy Williams play maker in the F/A
Re: Great Blue North's Dec. 2nd Mock Draft
In GBN's scenario, we couldn't find him in the draft either because he was taken @ #9. And I don't think you can find a guy like Lewis or Pope in free agency. I wouldn't be disappointed with a first round tight end, assuming we go defense the rest of Day One.
Re: Great Blue North's Dec. 2nd Mock Draft
I love this scenario. This still allows St.Louis a chance at getting a true playmaking LB in DeMeco Ryans. I believe Ryans will be playing in the Senior Bowl. I can see him working his way into the first round through the bowls and the combine. He could fall right into St.Louis' lap.

No, I didn't. This is a mock draft from Great Blue North, not mine.

A lot of people on another site I'm on a lot of people have us taking Lewis. U think we would take Lewis over Greenway?
Re: Great Blue North's Dec. 2nd Mock Draft
O my bad. A lot of people think Vince Young will stay too

I think Greenway has a lot of work that needs to be done. If we pass over a playmaking TE like Lewis or Pope, then we will be cursed to deal with Manumaleuna. This is something I do not want too see happening, especially if we can get DeMeco Ryans in the second round.
Re: Great Blue North's Dec. 2nd Mock Draft
I really don't think Ryans escapes out of the first. I'd probably take either Ryans or Greenway before I'd take a TE.

Really, it needs to be seen where everything falls. As I look at it now. If we pass over either Ryans or Greenway, then New Orleans will pick one of them up in the next round. While I'm starting to believe that Pope may fall somewhere into the second round.
