    Re: Great Michael Huff Interview

I have to give it to him. Huff has a really deep voice. It sounds like one of those people who smoke alot. Haha but seriously he has a very deep voice. And don't think I'm taking anything away from him I myself just wouldn't want him.

You two days ago: "I'd like the pick but Huff won't be there sadly."

You now: "I myself just wouldn't want him."

What will it be in another two days?

Where the heck did this come from? Talk about jumping off the ship.

To the contrary, I would be sorely disappointed if our 1st round pick DIDN'T take playing time from a 4th round pick.

    Re: Great Michael Huff Interview

According to The Sporting News' list of prospects and their measurables, no cornerback lifted more than 21 reps, while only one safety did - Fresno State's Tyrone Culver had 23.
Slightly off topic, but if we're going to use reps as such a standard, I got two Harding homeboys at safety that did 20 and 21.

Seriously. It's not like Carter has really separated himself as definitely deserving of that time anyways. He wasn't entirely impressive in his rookie season. Hopefully he progresses for 2006.

Not sure you ever said he flat out sucked, but upon searching for that kind of comment, I did find something very VERY interesting from a mock draft you made three weeks ago:

Round 1: Michael Huff S Texas ... This dude has game. After seeing his highlight tape this guy is the next Ed Reed/Donovin Darius .. Reeds coverage with Darius's hitting. Grant it I know I usually dont' say I want him this time I mean it. He has mad skills and will be a Top 5 Candidate for the Defensive Rookie of the Year. I love his game.
    Hmmmmmm.

I was just kidding. I don't know why but one day I'll like him the next I won't. Would you prefer I like him all the time?

    Re: Great Michael Huff Interview

I just wish you'd be consistent in your claims. It'd be one thing if a workout raised some questions about a skill, but nothing's changed with Huff in three weeks. If you like him, cool. If not, that's your choice. But what he can and can't do shouldn't be affected by that.
