GREENWAY still the man at #11.
Said it 2 months ago, and haven't changed!
With HUFF & HAWK surely gone, CHAD GREENWAY will fill the void at SLB.
He's big and athletic. Ready to rumble as a rookie. And he's a leader. I bet HAZ already has him penciled in!

It might still be too high for Greenway at 11th overall. But he certainly helped himself with that pro day, and our defensive options around that spot are starting to thin out.

I have to agree. If he just develops a better swim move he will be really good in the NFL and gains some more strenght but overall I think that he could make a big impact as a rookie!

Re: GREENWAY still the man at #11.
Greenway has strength issues .. Not a good fit for an undersized Linebacking unit that struggles with the run.
I see him going from slot 13-20... Huff, who's a DB, did better than Greenway in the strength tests (even Greenway's Pro day numbers).

Big deal. You can't deny that Greenway is one heck of a player. And you can IMPROVE STRENGHT its not that big of a deal he did 20 reps. Enough with the Reps and strenght.

I like Chad Greenway better than Jimmy Williams. Have the times reported at this Pro day been verified?

Yea this is his official pro day.
Jimmy Williams DB Williams (6-2 1/8, 216) ran his 40s in 4.41 and 4.46 seconds. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.15 and the three-cone drill in 6.69. In addition, he had a 33-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-6 broad jump and 12 lifts.
a few other keys from VT
Darryl Tapp DE Tapp (6-1 3/8, 256) ran his 40s in 4.81 and 4.79 seconds. In everything else, he stood on his performance in the Combine.
Jonathan Lewis DT Lewis (6-0¾, 311) did only the positional drills; he stood on everything else he did at the Combine.
James Anderson LB Anderson (6-2½, 229) stood on his Combine numbers.
Cedrick Humes FB Humes (6-0 3/8, 224) twice ran a 40 in 4.59 seconds. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.25 and the three-cone drill in 6.78. In addition, he had a 32-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-3 broad jump.

Re: GREENWAY still the man at #11.
At this point, I think I have Tye Hill higher on my defensive big board than Greenway. It looks like...
1) Hawk
2) Super Mario
3) Huff
4) Ngata
5) Hill
6) Greenway
7) Bunkley
8) Sims

Re: GREENWAY still the man at #11.
I agree with Nick's first FOUR:
1) Hawk
2) Mario (DE)
3) Huff
4) Ngata
I think we should go after Huff because that's doable. Hawk and Mario are most likely out of our reach. I remember a Draft many years ago and teams came from out of nowhere attempting to trade up to get Chris Doleman at the number 4 slot in the draft. I can see something like that happening with Hawk. If he's there at 5 or 6, many teams are going to be trying to see what it takes to pull off a deal to get him. Dennis Green is openly talking about trying to make a move for Hawk.
Defensive Ends Like (Mario) are at a premium every year (like Chris Doleman was).
At least two teams, including the Cowboys, are interested in trading up, for the right deal, to get Ngata. His upside is large.
