If Amendola can get 6 million per anywhere, then so be it.

I would not go higher than 5 and for no more than 3 years, given his recent injury history.

There's no question there are options available to us should he sign somewhere else. Mainly the draft.

Just as a follow up to this, Jim Thomas wrote an article citing the Hartline deal as the kind of deal Amendola will seek. Full article in our Rams Talk forum:

PD: Rams, WR Gibson will part ways; Amendola wants Hartline-like deal

If Amendola goes to the Eagles, they better hope they have James Andrews number on speed dial; with the way Vick and DA get injured, I'd be surprised if they play more than 4 games together all year.

I'm pretty sure that he's on retainer of the Skins, given he was there for RG3 at the end of the year.

I'm not against Amendola getting a Hartline deal, he's probably worth 6M, but like Av said a couple days ago, I'd try signing him to something in the 5's if possible. 6M would be my far upper limit.
    I believe!
