Re: Hartwig gone
I honestly believe that the Rams are sticking Incognito at center and moving Setterstrom to RG.
I think the line up will be
Pace Bell Incognito Setterstrom Barron
If you ask me, thats a pretty sturdy line. I think we will be adding depth only.

Re: Hartwig gone
I guess it depends on what Wiegman will be, a starter or depth. I think he makes a lot of sense for a year or two.

Re: Hartwig gone
That's too bad. The Rams had an opportunity to build a line that was something better than solid if they went out and pursued a center with experience like Hartwig. I think they're still counting on unproven players like Setterstrom and Incognito a little too much. Conversely, this might mean they've decided they're choosing Jake Long (though I doubt it).

Re: Hartwig gone
Well, crap. It looks like Miami is prepping to take Jake Long, setting us up to take Chris. There have been two good veteran centers available on the cheap. This is the kind of free agency that I support! Now I, too, want to know why we didn't pursue them. Of course, the answer is probably that we DID, we just lost out to a playoff team and a possible playoff team.

Re: Hartwig gone
I like our line, I think it's pretty solid as well, as long as the injury bug doesn't bite us again.

Re: Hartwig gone
I think Wiegmann makes more sense than Hartwig, especially since Hartwig has dealt with some injury issues over the last two seasons. That said, if the Rams don't pursue Wiegmann and allow him to sign elsewhere, then you have to think they see someone on their roster right now that they think could man the center spot. Likely Incognito, perhaps Setterstrom. Right now, I think Moose's projected line-up is probably pretty accurate, though drafting Jake Long in the first round would shake things up.
