my problem with him is, living here in New Orleans, I see him all the time, and he is nothing special at all. Even the fans here, who wear his jersey all over and adore him, generally admit he isn't much more than a gimmick for the team, and often claim he leads the league in sideline to sideline yards. There are just better options.

With the Eagles just signing Derrick Locke and already have signed Noel Devine one would think that the Rams are the frontrunner. Bush would give McDaniels some serious freedom and creativity. Pair him with Kendricks and defenses will have a tough time finding matchups.

Seriously, I don't know why people want him that much. Because of what he did 6 years ago? Newsflash, reggie isn't young anymore and won't suddenly develop into a mega star. He was basically the 3rd string back on the Saints, what makes anyone think he'd be more here? His college resume looks good, but we shouldn't judge him by that anymore. He has a longer professional resume, and it sucks.

I'm not overrating him. And I don't think many people do anymore. I wouldn't want him as a starter, but would be a perfect 3rd down back/backup to SJ. Especially in our system.

His 7.3-yards-per-catch average in the last 5 years ranks first among running backs, while his 12 touchdown receptions rank second among running backs.

No way I'd want him for anything near 10 mil that he was going to make. But he restructured his contract, so can't say if he's still overpaid yet.

I'd love to get Sproles also. We need some weapons on offense, and now Sproles and Braylon Edwards are pretty much all thats left out there. And I doubt we could afford Edwards. The rest of the RB, are just decent backup rbs. So we are running out of options to choose from.
