Re: Here's to Robert Griffin III....
He wont be throwing, like none of the top tier QB's. He'll run though, but I doubt that changes anything at all.

Re: Here's to Robert Griffin III....
he measure 6ft 2.5 and 223lbs -- This is huge for the Rams --- many scouts feared he was over measured in college...but as Ram fans we can truly be happy and this ...
I was down on him after hearing that Baylor inflated his Height/Weight/40 yard dash time....
Now he just has to run a good time....and his falling stock will turn full circle into rising stock....

Re: Here's to Robert Griffin III....
or here's to a good but not fantabulous day so that we don't get a bunch of threads questioning whether we should trade Bradford and draft RGIII.

Griffin ran a 4.38 unofficial. Man he must be a Rams fan, cause hes helping us out big time.

Re: Here's to Robert Griffin III....
I never thought his stock would change at all. If hes not throwing, hes irrelevant. I mean other than his physical, interviews, and measurements. Why would he take a spot at the combine over some other DII or DIII player that could have a chance to make himself a name here? Same goes for Luck...
The 40 changes nothing. He needs to throw, other than that hes still #2.

Re: Here's to Robert Griffin III....
Hmm... 6'2"... 4.38s 40 yard dash. We know he can throw... can he catch? He's taller and faster than Blackmon!
Seriously though, yes, he stock did rise today, because he has the fastest time since Vick in '01. Hell, even Luck had the same time as Newton last year. The thing is, RG3 has shown taht he'll stay in the pocket and hit a guy deep rather than run it once his first option is covered. THAT is why he's got such a higher ceiling than Vick, because he's a pocket QB who has that 6th option of busting a 60 yard run at any time.
Think of him as a faster, more accurate Tebow who throws first and second and runs third. He's that kind of matchup problem.I believe!

Re: Here's to Robert Griffin III....
I really can't believe how physically gifted this kid is....he should be playing WR......
I really didn't think he was that good an athlete.....and Kendall Wright is slipping bad...

Re: Here's to Robert Griffin III....
Considering that for them to trade up from 12, it may take 2 1sts, 2 2nds, and 2 3rds at a minimum, I might not be all that disinclined to do it. We'd take a huge amount of their team building ability for just one player. He has a very good chance of being great. He also has a very good chance of busting out, especially if we take their blue chip players for the next 2-3 years.
I believe!
