Holt for Young
Don't shoot me I'm just asking. Rotoworld is saying Young may not want to stay with the Titans. We know, at least last year, that Jeff likes Holt. So is there any kind of a deal here that could be made that would be beneficial to us? Is it just trading one big salary for another?
Think about it... Young and Jackson could bring the option play to big leagues!! ;)

Re: Holt for Young
They can ship us their second rounder and I'd be happy with that trade.

Re: Holt for Young
What's Young's contract look like? Ideally we're losing Holt's contract for cap space....not swapping one bad contract for another. I don't want to pay $6 million a year just so this team can run the wildcat err...slightly eccentric sheep play 2 or 3 times a game.
Besides-it's the NFL. Defenses will learn to counter that particular play group sooner rather than later.

All I got to say is "no way!"

Re: Holt for Young
Honestly no.
The Rams want to find a back-up QB in the draft. Im thinking about Josh Freeman in the 3rd round.
Pat Shurmur is going to implament a WCO. I dont think Vince YOung is accurate enough to play in a WCO. Nor do it hink he can make the decisions quick enough.

Re: Holt for Young
Unless Young's contract was so front loaded that the cap hit would be minimal, I don't see it happening.
Right now, Young is pretty much a project. He has very good athletic ability, and is a good leader, but his passing skills are sub-par.
Interesting idea, but I'd be pretty surprise if it was considered.

Re: Holt for Young
My knee jerk was no way, but if we could use him as more than just a QB, obviously in the "wild cat", but perhaps possibly a WR? I mean the kid did tear us up in the pre season, so we know he has some skill. Oh wait, never mind that was a bad point, who didn't tear us up? :(

Re: Holt for Young
Wow, I guess kudos for creativity in your ideas ...
But Young is not a good quarterback, and his attitude is terrible ...
