That is not surprising. I just wonder who the Rams think their #1 WR will be.

I'd be surprised if we don't see one of the teams late in the 1st round look at signing him... the receivers in the late first early second aren't nearly as good as Cruz. #16 is a bit too high, though, when we could get Fluker, or Cooper possibly.
    I believe!

I might not mind the draft pick so much if it were not for his contract demands.

Sounds good were it not for the draft pick. I'd rather we keep it, as others have said already, a number 1 pick (especially a #16 overall pick) plus a big cap hit just seems a bit extravagant for a team with so many holes. We'll see what Jeff and Snead think after all the FA dust settles.

An off topic question: Does anyone think D.J. Fluker is suspect at RT against speed rushers? I have only seen him play once, and he looked dominant run blocking, but I really didn't pay enough attention to his pass blocking. He is a HUGE guy, but sometimes huge guys' feet don't move quickly enough to hand edge/speed rushers. Thoughts on this anyone? In a way this is related to Cruz, because by hanging onto both our #1 picks, we'd have a shot at a guy like Fluker.
