Aaron Curry and M.Crabtree. Calvin Johnson 2 year before that.

Not to speak for Yell, but I think his post is written with a hint of sarcasm. The concept of "blue-chip" is very hard to define at best. Add to that the fact that only half the college season has been played, and it becomes hard (read: impossible) to nail down a question such as the one posed in this thread.

Assuming we can agree on the definition of "blue-chip", there may turn out to be 3, maybe 14, maybe none. It's just hard to tell at this point.

Mays overrated IMO not great in coverage, he will make a big hit, but otherwise isn't an overly reliable

Kindle and McCoy could be 1st rounders, but they aren't blue chip prospects

If we really want to pursue this line, we need to define "blue-chip prospect". According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a blue-chip prospect is...

an athlete rated as excellent or as an excellent prospect
