Hypothetical Scenario: Bradford's recovery struggles, who are you taking?

The thought is in the title. Let's say we have the #2 overall pick, and Bradford is struggling from his recovery from his ACL tear. The Rams are then forced to seriously consider using the #2 pick on a QB. So, the question I pose is this: Which QB would you burn a first round pick on if Sam struggles to recover?

I actually would vote for Manziel. After all I have been reading, and seen, he just gives off the feeling that he has ice water (or ice vodka) in his veins and will be a primetime player. I do not really trust Bridgewater, as he has appeared to be the opposite and struggled against quality opponents. Manziel tuned up Bama Defense for 460+ yards and 5 tds and ran for 98 yards... crazy. Had A&M had somewhat of a defense they'd have ruined Bamas three-peat long ago.

*This is not meant to be a "anti" Bradford thread, as I really like Sam and hope he makes a full recovery. This is just a "what-if" scenario.*

I take Bridgewater if I get my choice of QB. I think Teddy is as skilled as Andrew Luck. The only thing IMO that Luck had over him was being in a pro-style offense. Teddy has the pocket presence and arm reminiscent of Aaron Rodgers in my opinion.

Since I think Teddy goes #1 overall, I'll exclude him. From the remaining guys I think I'd have to go with Manziel as well. He is very mobile and can help mask a talent deficient offensive line. He's got a decent arm, but he's also get tremendous ability. He needs some serious help with some things like his footwork, but if he gets some good coaching he can be a great player.

There is literally no scenario in which I'd want Manziel.

From that list, I'd probably go with Carr.

    Bridgewater, then Carr.

I'd go Johnny Manziel and follow that up with Mike Evans. They seem to work well together.

    Bridgewater
    Bortles
    Carr
    Fales
    McCarran
    Garrapalo
    Matthews
    Murray
    then maybe I'd consider Manziel

I personally think Carr is overrated. He has the same size and physical tools as his brother, plus he's pretty accurate, but sometimes he kind of struggles with his pocket presence. I also don't think the level of competition he faced this year was pretty good, but maybe I could be wrong. I'll probably wait and see how he performs agains USC in their bowl game. As for who I'd pick in this years draft, I like the QB's from UCF and UCLA. I also like Manziel too, he can impact the game in different ways and I like his gunslinger mindset… kinda like a mix of Romo and Russell Wilson lol

Can I take Blake Bortles instead of Brian?

    Anyone but Manziel.

The last QB I'd want as the face of the Ram's franchise is a tool who blames all his mistakes on being young. Personally, I don't see how you coach a guy who isn't accountable and responsible. The next RGIII.

Being young and being a tool are two different things.

Gunslinger = run around, chuck the ball in the air, pray that Mike Evans can get his hands on it.
