Why would we spend that much money on Culpepper when we already have Bulger? I would love to see a receiver with tremendous skill like Moss in STL. But Culpepper, we can pass.
I don't think Culpepper would break the bank. Oakland signed him last year to a one-year deal worth $3.2 million and he didn't really do anything out there. He won't be able to command much, especially with as little attention as he'll get. And you could make the argument that he'd be a better back-up option than Berlin or Trent Green.Quote:

Culpeper is definitly an option as a backup QB, for cheap he would be much better then our current backup situation.

Buddy? They hated each other, and that's one reason Moss was traded to the Raiders in the first place. We could get one or the other, but not both. The most recent quote I could find was an interview done in '06 with Moss on the Raiders webpage:Quote:

It was rather easy to interpret that Moss was rooting for Culpepper to go to any club but Oakland.
