As if 12.23.2011 what is the draft order?
The order below represents the current inverted NFL standings, with the league's strength-of-schedule tiebreaker determining the order for teams with the same record (teams with the lower opponent winning percentage get the worse pick).
1) Indianapolis Colts
2) Rams
3) Minnesota Vikings
Are we in the second spot... this is what they where saying last-night on the NFLN...
If all three teams lose out are we second?

hmm I thought the Vikings were ahead of us due to SOS. Could be wrong obviously, that's just what I read. With Barkley going back to school, it's only really the #1 pick that's going to have a lot of trade value. 2 or 3 you get Blackmon or Kalil.

I think we are the second pick.... Nick can you clear this up for me...In the event that the Colts, Rams and Vikings all finish with two wins, the draft order is determined by strength of schedule. Indy's SOS right now is .547, St. Louis' is .566 and Minnesota's is .587.

Re: As if 12.23.2011 what is the draft order?
The latest information I can find has the Rams with the third pick currently. The Vikings have a weaker SOS than the Rams, and with the same record, are scheduled currently to pick before St. Louis. We'll have to wait and see if that changes as the rest of the games are played out, obviously.

Re: As if 12.23.2011 what is the draft order?
Per Kiper
"Both St. Louis and Minnesota are 2-12 heading into Saturday's games, but the Colts' .547 strength-of-schedule percentage is going to only worsen after playing the 4-10 Jaguars. The Rams' percentage is .587 and the Vikings' .587. If the Colts beat Jacksonville and the Rams and Vikings lose their last two, the Colts would not get the top pick. If the Colts beat the Jags and St. Louis and Minnesota also finish 3-13, the No. 1 pick would go to the Colts."
So right now the Rams and Vikings are even in SOS, but the Rams play much harder teams the next 2 games, tipping the SOS in their favor.

Rams are the third pick. I posted a detailed breakdown in a different thread which for some reason got locked. We are pretty far behind the Vikings.
