If SJax Leaves, Who Should The Rams Add To The "Committee"?
Let me start by saying I hope SJax returns.
However, if he does not, who would you like to see added to the Rams "RB Committee"?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: If SJax Leaves, Who Should The Rams Add To The "Committee"?
My vote goes to Le'Veon Bell. I like his size (6'2, 244) and his receiving ability (65 receptions over past two years) to go along with his extremely productive "workhorse" rushing numbers.
My guess is that he won't run a fast 40 and, as a result, will probably be available in round 3 or maybe even 4. I think he'd be a great value there.
My second choice is a toss-up between Franklin and Gillisee.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

i'd say the rams are fine with richardson, and eventually ganaway,
and if pead comes along, great!
I think a veteran RB is important for the younger backs, who though...?

Re: If SJax Leaves, Who Should The Rams Add To The "Committee"?
I love Eddie Lacy, but I think he goes in the 2nd, and I wouldn't take an RB there so I'd pass. Lacy is SJ jr. I read today that Lattimore will also declare, so I'll take a shot on him anywhere after the 4th.
Take Lattimore in round 5, and either put him on PUP or IR. Kid will be a BEAST.

I say none of the above. Im hedging my bet on Marcus Lattimore as a steal after some time to recoup from these injuries. McGahee has shown that it is possible after sitting out a year to be productive over a long term career.
Similarly, Gore had ACL tears in back to back years.
I think grooming Lattimore while letting Richardson, Pead and Ganaway handle the duties is more than enough.

Sign a veteran to go with Richardson and Pead's youth.

Re: If SJax Leaves, Who Should The Rams Add To The "Committee"?
I can't see how this organization would let SJ walk. Everyone says he's lost a step.....Huh, The dude is an animal. Anyone noticed all those 9 yard runs lately. Maybe this organization will see that when you have decent blockers, you will get that kind of production from SJ. Hopefully he'll be around a while. He's still worth top RB money in my opinion. And we've got the money to spend it this year too, and still find some other great free agents.
Even if we sign him to another contract, he's got another 3 years of strong play left in him.

If SJax Leaves, Who Should The Rams Add To The "Committee"?
If the rams do let SJ39 go, I would like to pick up another young running back. Let Richardson, pead , and fill in the blank have at it in training camp.
I wouldn't mind. Knowshawn Moreno , Chris ivory, maybe even if Rasheed mendenhall is available... I just do not see the rams giving up on SJ39 for a middle of the pack runningback.

How about Mendenhall? Looks like he'll be available after the season.

Brandon Jacobs anybody? Bet he will be a FA after this season and he is already grumbling about the lack of carries.
