If we would take him at #2 then ANYTHING we get from Cleveland to go to #4 is an improvement.

Yes, I know this is predicated on Cleveland making the trade, but why not make Cleveland make the trade? Even if we only get a #3 from Cleveland then, as I wrote above, we get that plus the guy we'd take anyways.

Unless you want Kalil there is no way that trading down doesn't make sense, its just a matter of what you trade down for.

No one would disagree with trading down to Cleveland, perhaps Cleveland. We would probably get Blackmon and if not, take Kalil.

Are the Browns sold on RG3 and are they sketched enough by the thought of a trade down to the 2 spot by another team will ruin their chances at getting him?

Problem is... anyone could be looking at Blackmon, even the Colts. If Indy is going to keep Peyton, they are all but certainly going to lose Wayne and Freeney, so why not give him the best receiver in the draft? And Minnesota? Why not give their young QB a reliable target that will take attention off of Peterson and Harvin? And of course, the Browns, if they choose to stick with Colt, why not give him another target who would be perfect in the WCO, to pair with Little, as their 2nd rounders from a few years ago are not panning out.

Also any team can move into the 3rd spot and snatch Blackmon. If you really want him then you should take him at the 2 spot.

I think the only way we trade to browns and want blackmon is do a eli manning sorta trade. We dont draft RG3 but we trade the pick with cleveland, however the trade is only effective cleveland drafts someone other than Blackmon. We can't just trade and cleveland ends up taking blackmon

If we move back to the 4th spot and pick up the Browns second first round pick at 22. We would be nuts to pass on that. Blackmon or Kalil would still be there at 4. If RG3 can create a stock pile of draft picks I'm all for that as well.
