Especially not an aging player in the NFL. It's all speculation. Jennings being a good receiver 2 years ago with one of the best QB's in the last 30 years does not mean he would have anywhere near the success with us.
A guy like Williams, Hopkins, Rogers or Wheaton has a much better shot of being a significant contributor, in the long term, than Jennings does and at a cheaper cost.
I'm not opposed to the idea of drafting a WR along with signing Jennings, I just feel that if the Rams have a chance to get one of the better receivers in the NFC, especially if its at a cap friendly cost, then I say they do it.
Also, you keep mentioning Jennings as a huge injury risk, well then what does that make Amendola? I'm guessing you'd be opposed to the idea of re-signing Amendola (due to his injury issues), and would rather have Sam throw to Quick, Givens, and a bunch of rookies, all behind an offensive line that couldn't be improved through the draft because we used all our 1st and 2nd rounders on wide receivers. IMO that seems way riskier than just signing Givens and re-signing Amendola.
