I'm not advocating it, but it wouldn't be surprising
...if the Rams drafted DeAngelo Williams at #11. Faulk hasn't guaranteed he'll be back yet and even if he does, he's only got a few years left in him. SJ has yet to play a full season without an injury. If Huff, Ngata, M. Williams, Hawk, Davis are off the board and we're in a situation where we can't move down (something I'd advocate), I'd say this is a reasonable possibility. Not the highest probability event, but not unreasonable.

Yea that actually wouldn't suprise me. But we could still grab Greenway or something?

It's all about value. Williams may be the best value pick at 11 and it's not like depth at that position is a bad thing.

Re: I'm not advocating it, but it wouldn't be surprising
i like deangelo williams...he reminds me of emmitt smith...
like chiguy mentioned, if linehan and staff sees deangelo as the BPA at the #11 spot then i wouldn't mind at all seeing them pick him up...
steven jackson is in his 3rd yr of a 5 yr deal...i'm slightly reticent to say that jackson is the real deal, yet...i believe he's missed time in each of his two seasons due to injuries...

Re: I'm not advocating it, but it wouldn't be surprising
I'm glad some one else understands that when Coach Linehan said draft on value that he ment best player available, not best player available at a position of need. That is what free agency is for guys, to find guys to fill holes that the roster has. The draft is too much of a crap-shot to relie on one of these guys being drafted at 11 to be a pro-bowler
