I've identified my "Wild Card"... now here's my No. 1 Sleeper
Tom Brady
Tony Romo
Jake Delhomme
Kurt Warner
Heck... even Marc Bulger.
For all the analysis and debate over Blue Chip QB prospects, selecting a QB is far from an exact science. The names listed above are all examples of QBs who were selected in the late rounds of the draft (or not selected at all) who went on to be Pro Bowl QBs.
I don't know that there is any formula for finding these diamonds in the rough, but there one player in this draft I think has that potential. So... my top sleeper pick for the 2010 draft is...
Levi Brown, QB, Troy
He has great size and a very good arm. If you've never seen him play, look up highlights of the GMAC Bowl.
I won't guess where he'll be drafted at this point, as I believe his stock will rise after the Combine.
All I will say is... keep an eye on this guy.

Didn't we already draft this "type" of QB last year, his name is Keith Null. I have a hard time imagining the FO taking another flyer this year on a QB.
I'm sure you have the facts straight that this guy will be worth watching, I'm just not sure we'll be the team that takes him. Of course you didn't say we would either. With the lack of a true #1 QB in this draft guys like this will gain a lot of attention.
Go Rams!

Not the same thing. Null went to a Division II college, so his learning curve to get up to NFL is pretty steep. Brown went to Troy. a Division I school, where he played against top competition (Bowling Green, Florida, Arkansas).
Besides, I'm not saying Brown would come in and start from Day 1, but there are worse things than having two young QBs to develop and compete for the future.
Here's a quote from Chad Reuter, reporting from the practices of the "Texas vs. The Nation" All-Star game:
Quote:
Troy quarterback Levi Brown also impressed with his arm strength and accuracy, displaying a tight spiral -- something most of the quarterbacks at the Senior Bowl lacked. His size and arm strength make Brown worthy of late-round consideration.

I like you didn't predict a projected 3rd rounder as your wild card!
I'm going further down the prospect list: Rusty Smith of Florida Atlantic. He'll need several years on a roster to develop like Brown but I like his long term potential.
Bill Stull is also attractive.

Could he be the Cutler of this years draft?

No. Cutler was a first round pick.

Heh, all fairness aside.. Troy plays UNT every year, and living right off Campus in Denton, Tx, I can tell you that this isn't much of an upgrade over Division II. ;-)

Cutler ended up being a 1st round pick. My point is that his stock went way up and who knows where this kid will be drafted?
