Jaguars to release DT John Henderson, should Rams be interested?

Adam Schefter is reporting this, mainly due to the Jaguars taking two DL players with their first two picks in the draft.

I think if he is healthy he will provide an upgrade in our rotation.

He's been a rock against the run for years, and is a big sloppy guy like we thought we wanted. Give him a physical and see where it goes!

play is considerably down, only had 26 tackles last year. that being said, id say hes worth a look.

I liked Henderson ever since i saw the guy slapping hiim in pre game warmups to get him pissed off.

I'd love for the Rams to at the least, inquire into it. More bodies for the defensive tackle rotation is always welcome. Bring on the beef baby.

Anyway, back to Henderson...I don't think we even get the shot to work him out. He already has a list of teams who want to work him out. He shouldn't be on the market long.

He's got visits set up with the Chiefs and Giants so far. The Chiefs seem like an odd fit, but I think he would fit in perfectly in NY. Seriously though, someone should tell them that they can only put 4, maybe 5 lineman on the field at once. They have:

Tuck, Osi, Kiwanuka, Alford, Cofield, Canty, Bernard --before they drafted. Now they added Pierre-Paul and Joseph.
