I myself feel, Bulger will be gone in a year or two. He was a Martz boy and his wrecked body may not withstand too much more. Cutler could be the man (if he is there). But the Rams need to start looking for a QB soon. Fitz will get a look this year and maybe a good look , but QB will be an issue soon!

Maybe it will, maybe it won't. There's certainly the possibility of Bulger not being with this team in two years, but even if that's the case, I don't think that justifies taking a QB in the first round. There's just as much of a chance that Bulger excels under Linehan and signs a long-term deal. The situation is too up in the air right now to justify taking a QB, IMO.

Depending on how the Rams do next year, they certainly could spend an early pick on a QB in the 2007 draft, as there are a couple of interesting passing prospects: Brady Quinn (whom we'd really have to tank to get), Drew Stanton, Jordan Palmer, Chris Leak, Sam Keller, Drew Tate, etc etc.
