Jay Cutler is the Clear Choice for the Rams

As many of you know, I devote several minutes each year to intense pre-draft analysis so that I can provide you, my loyal reader, with the most accurate predictions possible.

This year, my task was easy. You see, I, unlike every other sportswriter, do not think that defense was the Rams' problem last year. Rather, I think it all comes down to Marc Bulger's inability to take hits.

What the Rams need is a tough QB who can take lots of hits and keep playing.

So, I utilized my inside sources at Google to find a photo of each of the top QB prospects. What I found was very telling. Matt Leinert has decent size. Vince Young does too. But one QB stood out as the guy who could withstand a pounding in the NFL:



Jay Cutler is the clear choice for the Rams. Look at that physique! Why, looking at all the meat on those bones not only makes me hungry, it makes me certain that he's the guy for the Rams.

Heck, he might even be able to play some LB for the Rams! So he would fill multiple needs!

My only concern is this... he looks a little old for a recent college graduate, doesn't he? Also, it was odd that I couldn't find any pictures of this guy in a Vanderbilt uniform.

Oh well... no matter. He's the guy! Bank on it!

actually, Bernie....I wouldn't be so quick as to discount Cutler with the Rams. This year's team, IMHO, isn't going to win much anyway and to get a QB of Cutler's skills for the future wouldn't be such a bad idea.

However, I'm just a BBQ flunkie from Texas anyway so what do I know?

I didn't know Bernie Mack was a sports writer. Nice picture of you Bernie. Why don't spend some time writing an article about the Rams on the STLtoday site so I don't have to wait a week to read something new. Am I impatient or is there not alot of Rams info online. The Rams official site doesn't post alot and STLtoday either. I know what time of ther year it is, but there has to be some kind of new info everyday.

Are you serious? That's not Bernie from the STLtoday website. Let me clue you in. I maybe new to this board, but I'm not new to reading Rams news online. I only started reading/ writing threads here because for some reason I can't register on STLtoday's messageboard, which I thought was the only good board around....guess I was wrong. I 'm glad I found Clanram, I got tired of reading others threads. I missed writing threads on the official website. What happened to there message board anyway? Does anyone know?
