Jenkins again

this article says that Jenkins is on the block again

http://www.charlotte.com/508/story/133274.html

Would you give up a 3rd or 4th and a player for him? If that happened would Carriker play 3 technique nose or go back to DE

Re: Jenkins again

I could be sold on a 4th and butler. Depending on how much his contract demands have dropped and so on. make him to a manditory weight drop and we could end up with a steal. at that level dropping 40 pds is like dropping 5 for the avg Joe. Tom hanks lost 40pds in 4 weeks for whatever the stranded on an island movie was

Re: Jenkins again

Hold the phone, folks. It's not the team sayin' this, it's that leech Rosenhaus.
Quote:
Kris Jenkins' future with the Carolina Panthers was put in doubt again Wednesday.

NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus, whose client Damione Lewis could benefit from Jenkins' departure, told the Observer that he believes the team still hopes to trade Jenkins.

"I don't have any insight on it, but what I've heard is he's definitely still on the market and for the right price, they would trade him," Rosenhaus said before speaking at a Charlotte Touchdown Club luncheon. "So it'll be interesting to see what happens."

Sources said the Panthers made Jenkins, a three-time Pro Bowler, available to other teams for a first-round pick before and during the NFL draft last month, but didn't receive a satisfactory offer. Team officials have since said Jenkins would remain with the team.
General manager Marty Hurney reiterated that position Wednesday, but stopped short of fully denying Rosenhaus' comments.

"We've had no talks with anybody, so I don't know where that would've come from," Hurney said. "Nothing has changed since the last time we commented on it after the draft. As we've said, Kris is on our team and he's going to be here and he's a valuable member."
This is the Leech trying to make room for his own client, not the Panthers putting him on the market.

Re: Jenkins again

If the Rams had an interest in Jenkins, they'd be talking. By all indications, there is no interest.

Hehe.

We both know who the realists are around here, but the humor of the Nick/Jenkins saga in the chat room on draft day made it all the more fun.

I will have to switch from fists to automatic weaponry if this keeps up.
