jerome simpson gets 15 days in jail
Simpson's sentance was just reduced to 15 days in jail, as per espn. This is good news for the Rams. He will still be suspended by the NFL (I am betting 4 games), but it takes away the cloud of potential longer term criminal punishment. I would love to see if we can get a deal worked out.
Someone posted last night that simpson had been caught with 20 pounds of weed. I can not believe that was actually the case because if that was true, i dont think he could have gotten off with 15 days in jail.

If we want him, we probably should get him signed prior to him doing his jail time, because I've got a feeling he'll likely garner more pursuers with the relatively light sentence he got.

Even at 2 pounds, i am stunned he only got 15 days in jail. THere is no way that can be personal use. This is a huge break for him, i hope he learns from it.

Hurts me a little to think of the years any of us would spend in prison if we got caught with this much weed.

we'd probably get 3 or 4 months unless you are in a very strict state. Weed possession is not a major crime even if you have a couple pounds. I was just reading about a guy who got caught with 300 lbs and got 4 years.
