Jets release Alan Feneca
The Jets released Alan Feneca. Wouldnt he be a great addition to the Rams plug him in as a guard and forget about it. What do you guys think. I really hope they try to get this guy to help protect our new QB Sam Ram Bradford.
Go Rams 2010

I think if we don't release Barron, that Saffold would assumedly be taking the the right guard position, but I could be wrong. It's still too early to tell. We still have Fraley and Greco to compete as well, so ultimately I think we pass on him. He'll likely demand much more than we're willing to pay anyway.

Re: Jets release Alan Feneca
He already signed with the Cards for $2.5M. If you want to protect Bradford you didn't want Faneca. He was charged with 7 sacks himself and was the weak link on the Jets line. He's still a mauler, but not so good in pass protection anymore. FWIW, the Jets used a zone blocking scheme. The Jets are paying him $5.2M not to play for them, so you can assume they are happy replacing him with the 2nd rounder Ducasse.
