Yeah, Tennessee, Purdue, Cal, NC State, and Miami (Ohio) aren't exactly known as QB factories, either. But they produced Manning, Brees, Rodgers, Rivers, and Big Ben. Not to mention Southern Miss (Favre), Northern Iowa (Warner), Eastern Illinois (Romo), or Syracuse (McNabb). Seriously, I could keep going. To say you wouldn't draft Clausen just because he went to Notre Dame is beyond unsound logic. It's ridiculous.

That out of the way, I would not mind at all a trade down to get Clausen. I'm still leaning towards Suh at #1, though.

In other words, the trends are not logical, and you forgot to mention Montana. If the ND QB's were "busts", then how come Montana did not follow the "trend" and become a bust?


Clausen IMO is a lot better than Quinn, Clausen has skills that Quinn will never possess.
