Jimmy Williams will not run or jump at Combine
But he will do drills. All this from the horse's mouth on Sirius radio.

IMO I love the kid but he has to do those drills if he wants to be taken in the top 15. Dumb move

He also said he prefers cornerback instead of safety, and wants teams to look at him as a corner.

Well that'd be good for St. Louis.

Re: Jimmy Williams will not run or jump at Combine
It depends on what you see as the bigger need. If you're comfortable with what we have at corner but think we need help at safety, then that's not good news at all. If you like what we have at safety but think we need another young corner, then that's advantageous.

No we need safety help. People look at the rams corner situation and think its bad, but that is only because of injuries to the top three guys on the depth chart last year.

Butler, Fisher ,Groce and Bartell this is a good group. Safety and LB are bigger needs.

I prefer players that will play any position that will help the team out. I think statements that show a player has a personal preference limit their value to a team.

Cornerback is a bigger need than Safety for us anyways.

Re: Jimmy Williams will not run or jump at Combine
Why is that? If Butler and Fisher are recovered and able to play this year we should have a lot more depth than last season.

Honestly, I think you're just about the only one who thinks that. I'm not saying you're wrong, because it's your opinion. But I don't think you're going to find a lot of agreement with it.
