John Clayton on who should trade with the Rams ..

John Clayton was on ESPN sports radio yesterday, and was asked by the host who would end up being the trading partner with the Rams for the 2nd overall pick. Clayton didn't mince words .. He stated emphatically that Cleveland has to make the trade. He pointed out that after last year's trade with Atlanta, the Browns have the chance to do something huge with the picks they acquired in the Julio Jones trade. Clayton's opinion was crystal clear - given the picks Cleveland now have at their disposal - if the Browns don't execute this trade, John's exact words were: "Shame! Shame! Shame!!" He strongly implied that this is a once in a decade opportunity for the Browns and therefore time for them to strap on the cojones and step up to the plate period, end of story. Will Clayton end up being correct? I wonder??

Fortune favors the bold. They have 3 real deal QBs in their division. If they want to compete they need to sack up and make this trade. I do see a lot of Browns fans complaining that the price would be too high and that they should wait for next year. I think they're just used to losing.

That's impossible. There was some dude from Cleveland on this forum the other day saying the Browns weren't going to trade.

Who're you going to believe? ESPN or some random Browns fan?
