Just a heads up
On ESPNU at 1:15 pm Central is the capital one bowl skillz challenge. For the college players it has Vernon Davis, Brodie Croyle and a bunch of others.

Already watched
Really can't tell too much on the drills they ran except:
The receiver from Florida - Chad Jackson was impressive. Good hands, strong guy - if he has any wheels he'll do very well in the league.
Davis was the only TE, he is cut, looks more like a big WR than a TE almost. He reminded me a little of a bigger Steven Jackson. He'll do great at the combine, the question is can he block, and can he make the tough catch over the middle.
Vince Young is huge, he towered over everyone - looked good throwing while moving, not so much stationary.

Yea I want Davis badly. The man is fast as heck. In a route thing they ran it was Davis/S. Moss/C. Jackson/D. Williams and Davis came in 2nd only .007 from beating C. Jackson. He makes really good cuts, has really soft hands! and really knows how to use his body. This guy is going to be a star!

He can block. The only TE who rates above him in blocking is the monster from Georgia, Leonard Pope.the question is can he blockThe Roman and The Prince. Playmakers until the end.

He's a decent blocker and has the strength to be better, but I'd be pretty hesitant to label him as the second best blocking TE in this class.
