Just watched Huff’s interview at the combine
Just watched Huff’s interview at the combine. He comes across as a hard working, confidant and very intelligent young man. I’m getting the feeling his stock will rise at the combine and he will be gone before the 11th pick.

I caught the interview too. The more I see and hear from this guy, the more impressed I am with how he carries himself. We would be lucky to get him, but I agree with you Rambos, it's looking like a longshot.

The only team I see right now that's standing in our way is Detroit at ninth overall. They could use a playmaking free safety, and Huff fits the bill.
I believe San Fran will likely take either Hawk or Mario Williams, whichever the Packers pass on. I think Oakland takes Ngata to add youth to their D-line, and I think Buffalo takes the best OT on the board since they now have needs at both LT and RT after cutting Mike Williams.
Detroit is the wild card. If Young is still on the board, and makes it by Oakland, maybe Martz takes him. Otherwise, I don't think Huff makes it by the Lions.

Collins wants out of Oakland, Young might end up there, Lions might take Tamba Hali. But it does look like the Lions will determine our fate.

I'm actually thinking there's a good chance the Lions give Hali a strong look. I don't know how he did at the combine yet, but three of the Lions' five defensive ends are scheduled for free agency. Start Kalimba Edwards, their best pass rusher from last season, is one of them. I could see former defensive line coach now Lions Head Coach Rod Marinelli going after a hard working talent like Hali.
