Looking up some highlights of Blackmon and stumbled upon this. Thought it was very cool. I was hoping for Kalil until the bowl game and this video, but now am dead set on Blackmon.

It's crazy how his catch radius is larger than Plaxico's. Of course, any receiver can make highlight catches in a lab with dangers extremely limited (i.e no defenders, soft cushion instead of hard turf, video editing to edit the bad catches...etc.)

I haven't seen him make those types of catches in games to be honest, but a 33' vertical and 34' arms will surely raise his stock.



FWIW, Sports Science also did an episode on ....ahem...Mardy Gilyard last year and his "amazing" route running and how he can turn on a dime.

Well, he wasn't running those kinds of routes on the field last year from the bench that's for sure.


It's definitely a cool show, just take it with a grain of salt.

I have been all over this guys jawk the last two seasons. Now, I just want his even more. Its like Calvin Johnson all over again. Team him up with Bradford. I am now in heaven.
