Karlos Dansby
Yesterday on the official NFL website there was an opportunity to send questions to Pat Kirwan live on media row in Tampa, FL..
Well I gave it a shot and my only question that he responded to was concerning Karlos Dansby. (soon to be free agent)
My question was what would it take to get Dansby on the RAMS?
Pk's response was that he felt strongly that the Cardinals would franchise Dansby if neccessary. Pk also said that he has talked to Dansby on more than one occassion and that Dansby wants to stay with the Cardinals.
However if the RAMS made an outrageous offer Dansby might make the change.
Bad news as far as I'm concerned. Dansby is the LB that I would like us to get this offseason. He's 6'4", 250 lbs and is a great athlete.
Oh well, never say never I guess?Last edited by laram0; -01-29-2009 at 01:07 PM.

Re: Karlos Dansby
What else would Dansby say to a reporter in SB week? It's not likely he is gonna say he wants out, he just wants to focus on the game. The week's after the SB is when more stories start to surface. Let's be honest getting paid is the bottom line and if the Cards don't give him what he thinks he is worth like any other FA he will look to get the best deal possible.

Re: Karlos Dansby
Were in a better position this year to draft a starting MLB than over pay for a FA.

Re: Karlos Dansby
I think he may be out of our price range, because we don't have alot of cash and we have to sign Bartell and OJ

Re: Karlos Dansby
If we dont fix the run defense were not going to win! You can sign all the Crabtree's you want and it wont help. Weve needed a middle LB since 2002; NOW'S the right time to draft one!
