KC and NE trade impact on second round

How does the KC / NE trade impact the second round. Now NE will be picking in front of the Rams. How do their needs impact who could come off the board before we pick in round 2?

Hard to say, but if you are hoping for Ron Brace in Round 2 (as I am), I think that the Patriots (who have Vince Wilfork) are less likely to take him than the Chiefs (who don't have a true NT) would have been.

We've got pick #3 in the 2nd. (KC (now NE) had pick #2, for same record)

It means that if we take an OT than if Lauinitis slips the Pats will take him. Also if Laurinitis is not there they will take Clint Sintim cuz the Patriots always take LBs and now that Verabel is gone a Linebacker will be there.

What I thought when I saw this trade as it was rumored for a long time...is that Tyler Thigpen might be available, probably the wrong thread for this (if we are looking at LB in the second New England is always a potential candidate to pick an LB and all the comments on that are well based)... but really did anyone see the kid play last year????, he improved tremendously, has a strong arm, very athletic, and put up great numbers on a crappy team... if we are looking for a qb of the future why not explore picking him up as i'm sure KC would be willing to part with him...is anyone remotedly with me on this???

If the Pats takes LB's don't you think if Curry was there. They wouldn't take him without question??

    WHAT????????????????

Are you trying to say if Curry was there at #34 the Pats wouldnt or would take him. Cuz it was a trade for the 34th pick not 2nd.

Not saying that at all, saying that alot of fans want an oline pick, I'm saying that if the Pats had the 2nd pick they would take Curry. Playmakers wins SB's IMO.
