"Some teams also give their own tests but those are at individual workouts and no one releases those."

Jets | Saints asking price high for No. 2
    Fri, 28 Apr 2006 23:35:35 -0700

Dave Hutchinson, of the Star-Ledger, reports the New York Jets are trying to trade up with the New Orleans Saints to the No. 2 spot in the NFL Draft, but the Saints asking price is high. The Saints are asking the Jets for one of two packages, according to an agent who represents one of the draft's top players: The Jets' pick at No. 4, plus their first-round selection at No. 29 and their first-round pick next season or the Jets' pick at No. 4, plus their first-round selection at No. 29, their second-round pick at No. 35 and their second-round pick next season.

    In other Reggie News:

AP reports Texans GM Charley Casserly won't be around to see how his '06 draft picks pan out. Casserly is expected to get his walking papers from owner Bob McNair shortly after the draft. Sources say he already has put his Houston home on the market and probably will wind up with a football operations job in the NFL office in New York. Former Broncos, Giants and Falcons HC Dan Reeves was hired by McNair last year as a consultant. He won't replace Casserly, but will have a good deal of influence into choosing his successor. The two leading candidates, sources say, are Falcons vice president of player personnel Ronnie Hill and Broncos director of pro scouting Rick Smith.

Maybe we know why the Texans couldn't move down from that spot, if their asking price was anywhere close to that.

I'm hearing that it was actually new head coach Gary Kubiak's call initially.

I have a way of thinking, that Kubiac didn't want to run a multi-back/ Denver type offense in his new home.
