Bottom line...if Lito was that good and would be on the field, Asaunte Samuels wouldn't be an Eagle. They obviously think they cannot rely on the guy's health or performance one way or another.

Exactly. You don't go out and acquire the top cornerback on the market because of needs at the position and then get to claim the CB you are trying to trade is elite or worth a first round pick.

The Eagles have been exceptional at internal talent evaluation. If they felt the need to go get the highest dollared CB on the market, they have little faith in Lito. If Lito was every bit the part of stud, Samuel wouldn't be an Eagle.
