I like the comment made by one of the experts (Mayock, I believe?) that "picks 5 through 20 are basically the same".

It's a good year to have 16 and 22.

Yeah, I read something similar to that the other day. It said: "There isn't a difference between the prospects at pick #5 and pick #30". I totally agree. Next year though, it'll be STACKED throughout the top 5 picks (Marqise Lee, Teddy Bridgewater, Tajh Boyd, Jake Matthews, Jadeveon Clowney).

If the Rams were able to resign Amendola and sign Greg Jennings in FA (a pretty big IF if you ask me), I would rather the Rams draft other positions of need instead of WR. A receiving corps of Jennings and Givens out wide, with Danny in the slot and Quick and Pettis off the bench is pretty darn good. And if we added a pass-catching TE threat through the draft (either Ertz or Eiffert would be ideal) to complement Kendricks, our offense would be downright scary. However, if we just resign Amendola and no other WR's through FA, I hope we'd use one of our 1st round picks on a WR (Patterson, K Allen, & Tavon Austin are all possibilities). Lastly, if Amendola is not resigned, all bets are off and the Rams should definitely draft at least two receivers (my dream scenario would be getting Austin in the 1st to play in the slot, and getting Da'Rick Rogers in the 3rd to play the outside).
