LB/S potentially on the Rams radar
I read a blurb at NFL.com listing some of the teams at Colorado's Pro Day. The article stated the Rams sent only their LB coach, Rick Venturi.
The only LB working out at CU's pro day was Brian Iwuh. As for results, he strained his leg and will run at a later date. However, you have to figure Venturi was there specifically to see Iwuh. Is he a possible day 2 pick?
Iwuh is a 'tweener.....not the kind you're thinking of. He's a part LB, part S. He hits like a ton of bricks, and has pretty good coverage skills. However, he's too small to be a pure LB and too slow to be a true safety.
Sounds like a potential back-up and special teamer to me. However, if he can pick up the skill set, he might be a monster strong safety.
Re: LB/S potentially on the Rams radar
Good post HUb, I would injoy the idea of having man of that caliber on our team. Hopefully he can develop at one of the two spots if we were to draft him.

Brian Iwuh looks pretty good to me sounds good too.

Sounds like Archuleta

Buff LB 27 Brian Iwuh, 6-0, 225, Sr.
40 Brad Jones, 6-4, 220, Fr.-RS
19 Ben Carpenter, 6-3, 225, Jr.
37 Chad Cusworth, 5-11, 210,
The team's leading tackler returns to his spot on the outside and looking like the next great CU linebacker. He's a tremendous tackler and great at getting into he backfield and making plays behind the line. He can play like a third safety if needed or like a third defensive end.
