Like this idea for Rams draft

Trade #2 down to Atlanta and get #6 pick and #37 pick and select. Clowney could very easily be a bust based on work ethic alone - don't want to take that chance.

#6 pick Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn (this guy is an animal)
#13 pick Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville (looks better than Clinton-Dix)

#37 pick Michael Sam, DE, Missouri (this school just seems to put DE train wrecks into the NFL - loved Richardson last year and of course Aldon Smith)
#44 pick Kyle Fuller, CB, Virgina Tech (immediate starter)

3rd round - offensive guard or running back

4th round - same as third round

I think Atlanta would have to give us more than just the #37 pick to make that deal.

By the Trade Value Chart, we'd be giving up 2,600 points in exchange for 2,130 points. I think they'd have to throw in a future 2nd round pick, at a minimum.

I also wouldn't put it past Snead to not just trade down from #2.........this draft is deep enough he could very well move down from #13 too. He will make this interesting I am sure.

They'll get MORE than just a second rounder for Atlanta getting a guy like Clowney, especially with other teams also looking to deal up for him or a QB.

If they deal down, it would be more for the return they get than how far they drop, though dropping out of the top 10 doesn't seem likely. In a draft THIS deep though, trading down seems to be a smart way to look.

Pass on Michael Sam. I don't think he's a very good prospect. Much rather Kony Ealy at that spot.

I can honestly see Snead trading down from both spots (#2 and #13), and then maybe later on in the draft trying to trade back into the 1st round… you never know what your going to get with that guy

I heard that Les Snead is considering trading pick #2 for pick #s 13 and 44.

I see the mauler upside on Robinson but for somebody who's done so little pass blocking I'd hate to take him and have to rely on him early in the year to start at RT or especially LT. And any tackle we take is likely going to have to start if not right away and for the whole season at least until Jake Long gets healthy.

Certainly would need to draft a QB no later than round 4.

I wouldn't mind a DE, but he should be a top prospect. At that spot I'd probably go WR or OG depending on how the draft went (most likely WR).

Kony Ealy won't be available at that spot. And while Sam should be available at #37, I think he's a better fit as a 3-4 OLB at the next level.
