Re: Which line would you want to open 08 with?
Let me begin by saying that the Dorsey/Jackson line is verrrrrry apealing! I do however agree with an earlier message saying it was unlikely the Rams would devote their first 2 picks to the DL given the fact that we have many holes to fill.
I have been a Chris Long advocate for quite some time, but the more I read the more willing I am to the selection of Glenn Dorsey providing we are certain his injury issue is not one. If we do take GD then there is plenty of depth in this draft at the DE slot. Players like Kendall Langford or Brian Johnston will surely be available in rounds 3 or 4. We can also look for our pass rusher at LB. If we draft an ILB, WW can move outside and we saw his pass rushing skills late last year. Or we can find an OLB who would be a good edge rusher. In other words, I think if we draft a DL beast such as GD we can address the pass rush elsewhere. I have learned the NFL Draft is full of surprises and things that were a certainty before the draft end up no being true at all. Bottom line, it is fun to speculate.
Go Rams!:r

This may be true, but let me point this out.do however agree with an earlier message saying it was unlikely the Rams would devote their first 2 picks to the DL given the fact that we have many holes to fill.
Offense
Top 5-10 players in the NFL
QB Marc
WR Holt
LT Pace
RB Jackson
Defense

We have no one that I can think of that is one of the best, not one. Its about time we start building a great D. IMO
Little maybe...

Ooh, I don't know, Rambos. A rookie OT may begin the year as a backup, but with Pace and Barron ahead of him, chances are good he's a starter by the last half of the year.
