Lions Looking to move up
Well with the Dolphins agreeing with Jake Long the Lions see now that Matt Ryan is a possiblity. They are looking to trade Roy William to move up and grab Matt Ryan. Heres my question should the rams try to swap picks with the lions by sending the 2nd overall pick along with another pick in exchange for Roy Williams and the 15th pick in this years draft? We solve one of the problems we had in which we get a replacment for Issac Bruce right now and a replacement for Tory Holt when he leaves. The Detroit Free Press - Speculation is running wild in Motown that the Lions are thinking about trading receiver Roy Williams and moving up in this weekend's draft to take quarterback Matt Ryan, according to the Detroit Free Press. Trade talk involving Williams has been active all offseason, despite comments from both Williams and team president Matt Millen to the contrary. Coach Rod Marinelli has denied the possibility of any trades, but is known as an active dealer on draft day.

Who would we take at 15?
I don't think we do this, after putting so much money into Bennett.

Re: Lions Looking to move up
It's not a bad proposition, but I'd much rather stay at #2 and grab the defensive playmaker we so badly need.

Re: Lions Looking to move up
The only way I consider this deal is if Calvin Johnson is the receiver involved. And even at that, the Lions would get nothing else besides the number 2 pick.

Re: Lions Looking to move up
Why would we want Williams? We have Bennett! Kidding of course.
It is an interesting option if the LIONS are really looking to move Williams. My feeling is that our biggest needs are in the trenches and the #2 pick is going to have a huge impact on our D-line so I say, pass.
