With the 45th selection in the ClanRam Moderator Mock Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select...

    Darnell Bing, USC
    6'2" 228

Dawkins isn't getting any younger and both he and Lewis are in contract years. Bing remains one of my favorite picks in the draft. He has way to much upside not to be good in the NFL, and a year of learning from 2 of the best will only speed his learning curve. Look for Bing to be one of the steals of the 2006 draft.

With the 46th pick in the ClanRam Moderator Mock Draft, the St. Louis Rams select...

    Abdul Hodge, ILB, Iowa
    6'1" 236 lbs.

Forget what Scott Linehan said about Witherspoon playing middle linebacker - if either Hodge or Jackson falls to this spot, the Rams should be quick to the podium with this pick. Hodge is a better fit in the middle, and in this scenario I'm among those that think Witherspoon should slide over to WLB, where his athleticism and speed would be let loose, while Pisa has shown he is willing and able to play the strongside position.

The Atlanta Falcons with the 47th pick in the 2nd round select.....

    Daryn Colledge OT Boise State

    6'4 299lbs

The Falcons need to protect the QB more even though Vick can scramble. Colledge was in a system at Boise State that was up tempo and should be a big help in the passing game.

With the 48th pick, the Minnesota Vikings select...

    Omar Jacobs, QB, Bowling Green

    6'4, 225 lbs.

This is a perfect scenario for the Vikings. Brad Johnson demonstrated the ability to lead the team last year, but he will be 38 when the season starts. As Johnson winds down his career, Jacobs will emerge and ultimately be the starter.

With the 49th pick, the Dallas Cowboys select,

    Daniel Bullocks, FS, Nebraska
    6'1", 212, Junior

The Cowboys need a true centerfielder to play next to Roy Williams. This works perfectly for Cowboys as Bullocks is not a great hitter, but solid in deep coverage with a nose for the ball. In Bullocks, they now have a yin for Williams' yang.....ohh, that doesn't sound good. But you know what I mean.

With the 50th pick in the ClanRam Moderator Mock Draft, the San Diego Chargers select...

    Jonathan Scott, OT, Texas
    6'6" - 316 lbs - Senior

The Chargers need to find depth at offensive tackle, and have watched a number of the solid mid Day One prospects get snatched up earlier in the round. They won't wait any longer, and will grab Scott here, hoping that under their guidance he will make great use of the physical talent he has.

With the 51st pick and the 19th pick in the second round, the Minnesota Vkings select...

    Ko Simpson, S, South Carolina
    6'1" 205

Ko Simpson has declared for the 2006 NFL Draft as an eligible sophomore. Simpson is already 22 years old and his physical maturity is a big reason he has been so dominant on the field despite his lack of experience. Ko will be groomed to take over for Shaper next season. Shaper isn't getting any younger and is do to make $3,900,000.00 next season, and we all know the Vikings don't like to over spend. If everything works out as planned they will have Simpson and newly signed Tank Williams in their deep secondary for many years to come. The Vikings through this draft and free agency just might build themselves a pretty solid future, and Ko might just be a future anchor to that.

With the 52nd pick in the ClanRam Moderator Mock Draft, the New England Patriots select...

    Ashton Youboty, CB, Ohio State
    5'11" 189 lbs.

Nice value pick here for Belichick's defense. The Patriots' secondary was overcome with injuries last season, and they still don't have a true number one cornerback. A good job of coaching should mold the somewhat inexperienced Youboty into just that.

The Washington Redskins 2nd RD pick in THE most infamous mock draft on the web is....

    Charles Spencer....OG.....Pittsburgh

It's only the 2nd round but honestly this is the best, well, only picture I could find of this guy. However, he's a talent on the O line that Washington really needs. The Skins really didn't protect the QB very well last year and that is Spencer's forte.

With the 54th pick in the draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select:

    Brandon Marshall, WR, Central Florida

    6'4, 225 lbs.

Though Marshall might be seen as a bit of a reach here, the Chiefs really need to bolster their WR corps. Marshall's stock went up substantially as a result of his MVP performance in the Hula Bowl, where he had 101 yards and a TD. Size and leaping ability will make him valuable in the Red Zone.

With the 55th pick, the Cincinatti Bengals select...

    Claude Wroten, DT, LSU
    6'2", 305, Senior

Wroten is a strong 3-technique tackle that could possibly start from day 1 next to Sam Adams. Wroten has a little off-the-field issues to deal with, but if he can mature a little, he could be a steal with the 55th pick.

With the 56th pick in the ClanRam Moderator Mock Draft, the New York Giants select...

    John McCargo, DT, NC State
    6'1" - 301 lbs - Junior

The Giants lost Kendrick Clancy to free agency, and really don't have much on their roster to replace him. New York has solid depth, but could really use a guy that will make plays. McCargo is considered by some as a potential first round defensive tackle, and while he did play on a talented line in college, he is considered a very consistent man in the middle of the line who should bring great things to the Giants.

With the 57th pick and the 25th pick in the second round, the Chicago Bears select...

    Cedric Griffin, CB, Texas

The Bears were exposed in the playoffs last season when Steve Smith went postal on their secondary and now Azumah has stepped down. Griffin is not a speedster, but he brings to the table toughness, sure tackling and a solid player out of the gate. The Bears answered a need in the first, look for them to answer their other need, on the other side of the ball in the second.

With the 58th pick in the ClanRam Moderator Mock Draft, the Carolina Panthers select...

    Joseph Addai, RB, LSU
    5'11" 214 lbs.

The Panthers showed confidence in DeShaun Foster by signing him to a three-year deal and releasing Stephen Davis in the offseason, but he's been bothered by injuries his whole career, the latest one being a broken leg suffered in the playoffs. Backup Eric Shelton was on injured reserve last year, so the Panthers need insurance in the backfield. Addai brings a powerful, straightline running style that Carolina lost with Davis and could potentially share carries with Foster this season.

Tampa Bay with their 2nd RD pick by tx will flip a coin and go with....

    Kelly Jennings....CB....The U

    5'11" 178 1bs 4.43 40 yd dash

Not to be confused with Kelly "Burke" Jennings, the female body builder (saw her pic when looking up his, and oh my...can't say I was glad I did)...this guy can fly and so far his stock is rising, especially with Gil Brandt at NFL.com.
