Re: Long Story on Matt Jones - Why No Way 3/4

Nope, never thought he was my boy. Wimprine never had the speed Jones has.

    TX,

Excuse me. I thought he played at your alma mater, Memphis. My bad, as I thought you would have kept tabs on his possible path to the NFL.

I never made the connection/comparison about their abilities. It was a poor attempt to be jocular about Wimprine from earlier posts. I will refrain from doing so in the future, Mighty and taciturn TX.

Wow, I don't think I have EVER had such a major BRAIN MUSCLE pull as I just did fearless. I was thinking of Wuerful. SHEESH. Anyway, Wimprine will be a QB in the league but I'm not sure how high he will go. He has a gun slinger of an arm.

IIRC, in an earlier reply, I believe I referred to Jones as having good speed. FLO, if that is what you are referencing here, then you are correct, that was an absurd and blatent understatement on my part. Jones has outstanding speed for a player of ANY size.

    Good catch, FLO.

I think that the lamey martin experience has got to RIP.

What is the feeling for what direction is the FO and Martz going to take for the 3rd QB? Jones or Wimprine would be a great improvement from last year's debacle.

But I guess we are looking for a veteran in FA? as Smoker is unproven. I would really like the FO pull some strings and obtain another 1st rounder this year to keep up with the Jones' as in the redbirds.

I hope we obtain Matt Jones somehow...

That is why I am drooling for this kid. The HB option play comes to mind real quick.

I know we need a RT to make things cozier but not a player that will be a project until the second half of the season. We need primetime additions to our OL now! or if not should we stick with what we have and keep our fingers crossed??!!?? and then maybe get a toy/Jones who may be a participant on all three teams ...

just a wrench to conventional wisdom and again what about 3rd QB?
