Looking Ahead: Rams Will Have Few FA Tough Choices In 2014
This offseason, the Rams face two tough FA decisions regarding Steven Jackson and Danny Amendola, and also will wish to find a way to re-sign William Hayes, if feasible.
Next year, however, should not be so tough.
The Rams have only two starters scheduled to hit free agency in 2014: Rodger Saffold and Jo-Lonn Dunbar.
Saffold will have to earn his next contract. If he stays healthy and performs well, the Rams will probably wish to re-sign him as their first priority. If, for whatever reason, they are unable to do so, they would have the choice of using their franchise tag or, alternatively, selecting an OT in what should be a very good draft at the position next year (Jake Matthews, Taylor Lewan and Cyrus Kouandjio already projecting as first round picks) with one of their two first round selections.
If Dunbar has another strong season, I'd expect the Rams would want him back, but they probably would be pretty conservative in offering him a new contract. Simply put, WLBs are not that hard to come by, and a replacement could be found, if needed, on the second day of the draft.
Beyond that, all of the key pieces are signed through 2015, so the Rams should have good roster continuity over the next two seasons.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

indeed...and don't be surprised if Kenny Britt becomes a Ram after this season.
I am sure the Titans won't be competitive again and he stated Rams, Cowboys and Jets are his options..
