Looks like Mallett is returning to school

Several reports indicate that he's going to return to Arkansas next year. I think that's the right move for him, as he needs to develop a bit more. I expect he'll be the second rated QB prospect going into next year behind Jake Locker.

That's probably the best move for him, but unfortunately it thins out the Tier 2 QB's to McCoy and Pike. Good think the Rams will probably have the first shot at them.

He's only into his Sophomore season. It's his best option.

The draft next year will be very interesting. If 2010 is uncapped it means a lockout is impending going into 2011 if there isn't an agreement. A lot of teams think 2011 will be a lockout and we'll lose a partial season. It would be interesting if a guy like Mallett decided to stay for his senior season also to avoid the lockout junk.
