    Lost's Mock Offseason

    Cut:
    Quinten Mikell

    Resign:
    Steven Jackson
    William Hayes
    Barry Richardson

    Key Free Agents:
    Louis Vasquez, Guard
Had a great season with San Diego and is only 26 years old. Will be a solid foundation for our line for years to come. This is our big free agent pickup this year.

    Justin Durant, OLB
Solid run stopper but only a 2 down player. Will start opposite of Dunbar.

    Patrick Chung SS
Solid Safety but will come at a decent price because of his injury history.

    Kevin Ogletree, WR
    depth.

    Draft
Round 1 Pick 16: Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford
The best TE in the draft, Big play Tight End who can Line up inside, In the slot, or out wide. Capable of making clutch catches in big situations. A brand new toy for Bradford Who will help us in the Redzone.

Round 1 Pick 22: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Another toy for Bradford? Yes SIR! My favorite receiver out of this years crop, And probably the most explosive. Natural playmaker who is very smooth in his breaks and knows how to position his body to make the catch. His only big weakness is his technique against press coverage, which can be coached up.

Round 2:D.J. Swearinger, FS, South Carolina
Big hitter who can play either Safety position. Can cover Tight Ends. High Motor. Biggest weakness is sometimes getting overly physical and drawing PI flags.

Round 3: Brennan Williams, T, North Carolina
Our future right tackle, Should go earlier but falls due to an injury.

Round 4: Ryan Swope, WR, Texas A&M
Our replacement for Amendola. Quick slot receiver who has deceptive speed. Can turn a short pass into a long gain.

Round 5: Sam Shwartzstein, C, Stanford
Going to take Turners spot for backup center possible future starter after Wells is gone.

Round 6: Damien Square, DT/DE, Alabama
    Depth.

Round 7: Ohrian Johnson, S, Ohio State
    Special teamer.

    Depth Chart:
    QB: Bradford / Davis
RB: Jackson / Richardson / Pead
    WR1: Patterson / Quick
    WR2: Givens / Ogletree
    WR Slot: Swope /Pettis

There's a lot I like in that plan, particularly the smart shopping in FA.

At this point, though, I'd say #16 is too high for Ertz. I'd rather take an OL at that spot, and take a TE in Round 3.

Yeah i actually had a hard time deciding our first pick. I don't see Warmack or Fisher making it to 16 and i'm not a big fan of Lane Johnson or Johnathan Cooper there. BPA at 16 would probably be a D-lineman or CB so I reached for need.

You could probably get away with swapping the two first round picks, as I've seen Patterson all over the place, going anywhere from mid round 1 to mid round 2.
