Updating a previous item, Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the New Orleans Saints have agreed in principle on a trade to acquire New York Jets LB Jonathan Vilma in exchange for a conditional draft pick based on Vilma's playing time.

The Associated Press reports Cleveland Browns QB Derek Anderson has rejected the team's offer for a three-year contract worth $20 million with $10 million guaranteed. Anderson is now a restricted free agent and on the free-agent market. If Anderson signs with another team, the Browns would receive a first- and third-round draft pick as compensation.

Something isn't right. The Panthers would take nothing less than a 1st rounder last year for Jenkins, now they go and give him to the Jets for a 3rd and a 5th? What gives?!

yeah i dont remember hearing much about Jenkins last year

also, i thought it ended up being a second round pick that the Panthers wanted prior to the draft? And the Rams ended up passing on the trade because they grabbed Carriker in the first. Thats what i thought anyway
