Manny Lawson
Just ran a 4.41 forty.. Not official..
I think with that he has solidified himself as a first rounder.
Mario Williams ran a 4.76.

Re: Manny Lawson
If this is true i would love to get him. he would be an ideal 3-4 OLB

Re: Manny Lawson
I'm hesitant about getting a guy that's strictly a 3-4 guy. Because if you get Lawson, I think you're backing yourself into a wall about what you're going to play. I'd prefer to get an OLB that could do either 4-3 or 3-4. But I think Lawson could very easily go to Cleveland now. That's incredible speed, and they need a rush LB in that system.

Re: Manny Lawson
Why not draft Lawson and convert him to a 4-3 LB. Thats faster than alot of LBs maybe outside LB beside Pisa? Then Grabbing Hodge in the first? Pisa Hodge Lawson

Re: Manny Lawson
That doesnt sound too bad at all if Lawson can show he would be a good strong side LB in a 4-3 and he would be a very good OLB in a 3-4,I would love to get him,and Hodge in the second you cant argue with that at all

Yea. I mean he has to be strong enough. I'm just trying to find out how many reps he did.

Re: Manny Lawson
I would be surprised if the Rams grabbed two LBs in a row. As for converting Lawson to a 4-3 LB, I'm not sure how successful it would be. He might do okay, but he would thrive in the 3-4. There's no reason to try and take a guy out of his element right there, and if we're running both, I'd rather find a guy who is capable at both positions.

Also he can play for Little when tired or retired.

Re: Manny Lawson
Really not confident in that either. He weighed in at 241. I'd like to see what he did in the bench, but as a down lineman, he'd likely not be much more than a situation pass rusher like Robert Mathis. Not exactly what you want out of a first round pick.

Re: Manny Lawson
I honestly think he can play OLB in a 4-3

Re: Manny Lawson
I think there's a chance he could, but it'd be a waste of his talents.

Re: Manny Lawson
Plus Haslett said were running a 4-3, 3-4 D mixed up. He is very atheletic nd maybe we could put him in as an emergency safety with his speed!
