Marshall's take on the Ram's first round pick
A celebrity mock draft is being done on NFL.com. The two QB's go as expected, Minny takes Kalil, Michael Irvin has Cleveland taking Blackmon (DAMMIT) and TB takes Clairborn (?).
Rams are on the clock and Trent Richardson is there. Too much money wrapped up in Jackson and "Steven has problems playing with another premier back"... So, the Rams take a safety named Barron at 6...
I am glad I have a softball game at 7 tomorrow night, cause if this happened while I was at home, I know I'd need a new TV...

Re: Marshall's take on the Ram's first round pick
The funniest part of the video is Michael Irvin asking Marshall Faulk how he knows SJax has a problem playing with another premier back. I take this mock with a grain of salt because the intent is to be entertaining and not let the facts intrude too much. Thanks for sharing.
Go Rams!

Re: Marshall's take on the Ram's first round pick
Truth be told, I'm guessing S-Jax would fill the mentor role better than Marshall did.

Re: Marshall's take on the Ram's first round pick
Strangely enough, I wouldn't be too upset if we came out with Barron in the first. I think this guy is going to go higher than most expect him to. I think he's top-10 for sure right now, maybe 7 with someone trading into Jacksonville's spot to leapfrog Dallas.

Irvin was the best part of that video. "How would you know!?" Had me rolling.

If the Rams draft Barron at No. 6 I will buy a Marshall Faulk jersey and eat it.

Re: Marshall's take on the Ram's first round pick
That pick is rediculous.
At the end of the day, it wont matter if Jackson would be a good mentor or not(i know he would be though).
They won't pass on Richardson because they don't think Jackson will be happy about it or be a good mentor (much like how the Rams drafted Jackson not basing it off if Faulk would be happy with it), they will pass on him only if they want someone else who they think is of better value.
I love Faulk, but i am not a fan of GM Faulk. There is no plausible way the Rams pass up on TRich if Blackmon, Claiborne and Kalil are already gone.

Re: Marshall's take on the Ram's first round pick
Marshall is one of my all-time favorite Rams, but he comes off as snobby in this video. Faulk should know that the arrogant young kid that Jackson was eight years ago isn't the man he is now. And if he doesn't know that, then shame on him.
And apparently, Faulk bringing up stuff from eight years ago is the funniest thing Micheal Irvin has ever seen in his entire life. Geez. Could you imagine having to work with that guy?

When you're sitting next to Michael Irvin, and he's the mature one in the room, you need to take a long hard look at yourself.
